Management ‘B’ Unit
Acquisition of records and classification of the acquired record is the core function of the Management B Unit which is headed by Archivist (Management).
The Management B Unit of the Directorate of Archives and Archaeology, Government of Goa, has in its custody records pertaining to Directorate of Accounts, Mamlatdar, MPT and Customs Department, records of Communidade of Bardez, Canacona , Ilhas, Pernem, Ponda and Salcete; Military records; Notorial deeds, Court files such as files of Acção, Execução and Inventory of various JMFC. We also have records at our repository at Daulat Building, St. Inez, Panaji.
The Archives Annexe office, Altinho services records pertaining to Travel documents (Documentos para Vigem), Captain of Ports, Birth, Death and Marriage records.
